Nobody's Perfect Project
East Vancouver's Nobody's Perfect Project is a consortium of community agencies in East Vancouver that offer the six- to eight-week, free parenting program to parents with children up to five years of age. Provides information about children's health, safety, development, and behaviour; and supports and encourages confidence in positive parenting. Provides books about child care and parenting. Groups are also offered in Cantonese, Mandarin, Punjabi, Somali, Spanish, Vietnamese, and First Nations languages. Kiwassa Neighbourhood House coordinates this consortium and offers the program itself, along with Collingwood Neighbourhood House (604-435-0323), East Side Family Place (604-255-9841), Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House (604-251-1225), MOSAIC (604-254-9626), Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House (604-879-8208), Raycam Cooperative Centre (604-257-6949), Reach Multicultural Family Centre (604-254-6468), South Vancouver Family Place (604-325-5213), South Vancouver Neighbourhood House (604-324-6212), Saint Leonard's Youth and Family Services (604-434-1515), Strathcona Community Centre (604-713-1838), SUCCESS (604-684-1628), Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre (604-251-4844), and YWCA Crabtree Corner (604-689-2808).
